Easycare Sheep

Easycares are a little known breed of sheep.  A cross of the Wiltshire Horn and the Welsh Mountain, the breed characteristics are
  • They shed their wool (no need for sheering)
  • They have no horns
  • They lamb without assistance
  • They are hardy and can be kept outdoors year round
  • They lamb outside 
  • They have very low incidence of foot problems
In our first year with the breed we lambed 87 ewes all outside and we didn't assist any.
